Hong Kong reverted to China in 1997.  It is now a special administrative region of China.  Chief of State is President Jiang Zemin of China.  Head of government is Tung Chee-hwa.  Hong Kong in area is smaller than the U.S. State of Rhode Island.  Population is nearly seven million people.
