March 2012  Japan holds trade fair in Myanmar
Japan, seeking to gain an early foothold into the promising Myanmar (Burma) market, kicked off "Japan Festival 2012" here on March 9 to promote Japanese products.  Total of 45 companies taking part in the show. The event was organized by the Japan External Trade Organization.

December 2011 Thailand Trade Exhibition was launched at the Tatmadaw Hall in Myanmar's Yangon aiming at enhancing bilateral trade and investment between Myanmar and Thailand. Organized by the Myanmar Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with Thai Ministry of Commerce, the exhibition ran for 3 days. A total of 154 booths from more than 150 companies showcased over 1,000 products consisting consumer and beauty products, machinery and equipment, electronic goods, food products and also some related to the service sector.

April 2011  A Myanmar-China border three-day trade fair was launched in Myanmar's Muse 105th Mile Border Trade Zone aimed at enchanting the bilateral trade between the two countries.  A total of 230 booths from the two sides.  Other surrounding countries such as India, Thailand, Laos and Bangladesh also joined the fair. Myanmar-China border trade fair is held annually on alternate base as the last was held in Ruili, southwest China's Yunnan province linking Myanmar's Muse.
