Why Indonesia
Indonesia Indonesia is a rich, ethnically diverse island state with a very large population.  Internal markets for consumer goods are large and offer opportunities for many consumer goods firms.  Indonesia has a large and well developed petroleum industry that adds to government wealth.  Indonesia is just starting to emerge from the crony capitalism that has existed for most of the time since independence.  Wage rates are relatively low and if social stability can be maintained the opportunities for profitable investment will be significant.
