Kuala Lumpur has an extremely modern airport named  Kuala Lumpur International Airport  (KLIA)  that opened  on 29 June 1998.  KLIA  is close to Malaysia's Administration Capital - Putrajaya.   Putrajaya, the country's new administrative centre is within 20 minutes' drive away from KLIA.  It takes about an hour's drive from KLIA to Kuala Lumpur,  the capital city of Malaysia
